Don’t go saying McCain’s pick flies in the face of what his campaign stood for when Obama, Mr. “Change” picks a career politician and one of the longest serving senators for his running mate. Nice change, more of the same.

Sure, she gave a great speech at the convention, but she does have a background in broadcast journalism, and is easy on the eyes. I’m not surprised she was able to deliver a prepared speech.

Besides that, is she EVER going to have a press conference? It’s INSANE that a candidate for VP won’t even MEET the press. What will she do if they do win?

My problem with the Palin pick is she is not only a bad pick for VP (and undoubtedly an almost exclusively politically driven pick) but that choosing her killed one of McCain’s greatest strengths over Obama.

Experience.

That WAS the meat of their campaign, but you’ll notice they just don’t go there as much anymore.

When Obama went on O’Reilly he was asked questions about the issues and his positions, stuff that mattered. Couric was trying to play “gotcha”. It’s too bad that Tim Russert is gone and any credibility that network had regarding politics died with him.
